Given the Harold Alfond Foundation’s significant existing commitments to many large-scale projects across the state of Maine, the Foundation is not welcoming new grant applications at this time.

Please check back in late 2027 for further guidance on the Foundation’s capacity to consider new investments. The Foundation’s latest grant report also provides valuable information on the Foundation’s strategy and current position.
