Given the Harold Alfond Foundation’s significant existing commitments to many large-scale projects across the state of Maine, the Foundation is not welcoming new grant applications at this time.

Please check back in mid-2025 for further guidance on the Foundation’s capacity to consider new investments. The Foundation’s latest grant report also provides valuable information on the Foundation’s strategy and current position.
